The American singer Britney Spears who has been under the conservatorship for over 10 years, yet is working and according to source has a successful Las Vegas residency continuing to release music still hasn’t gotten her freedom.
The calling for the end of Britney Spears conservatorship began on Sunday afternoon just few hours after Kanye West made an announcement that he would run for the president of the United States and the reason behind it is simple, he was hospitalized for mental illness too!
Britney Spear’s fans are on rage on the fact that she loses her rights cause of mental health crisis while Kanye West has the rights to run to the President’s office.
The hash tag #FreeBritney started on Sunday afternoon, trending world wide on twitter. As the fans of Britney Spears want to see the pop princess to be free, they are pushing for an end to Spears’s personal conservatorship which has been continuing for over a decade. The fans are stating that at least the pop princess Britney Spears should have access to her own personal lawyer in this case.
One for her fans tweeted, “Britney Spears goes through a mental health crisis publicly and she loses her rights. Kanye West goes through a mental health crisis publicly and he runs for the President #FreeBritney”.
While her lawyer Samuel Ingham told the USA Today last year that Britney doesn’t object to either her father or the professional co conservator to handle her personal affairs or her finances and that’s the reason she did not attend a hearing on that matter which was held in December.
Though this issue gained focus after Kaney West who was also held involuntarily in the hospital due to health crisis in 2016 announced that he will run for the President of the United States office, his tweet was fuel on the fire as he tweeted that , “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting god, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States! #2020VISION”.
After this Britney Spears fan came out destroying the social media by posting tweets supporting her and claiming that she should get her freedom as if now.
Fans and supports commented: “kanye west can run for the pres but Britney Spears cant even vote becuz her father is holds her in permanent conservatorship #FreeBritney and restore her civil rights”.
With another fan came out in supports with the post, “A man has mental breakdown, he rubs to the president. A women has a mental breakdown, she is stripped of all her basic rights. Kanye’s a joke And #FreeBritney. I hate Hollywood.”
In a months-long investigation conducted by the “The Times” On Britney’s conservatorship revealed that they could find no independent evidence that she was being harmed, though the legal conservatorship or guardianship was “highly unusual” because she was working nonstop producing albums and touring around the world.
While Britney Spears’s fans are outraging the social media in her support, there is still silence from Britney as to she is yet to make any comments on this issue.
