The beginning of 2020 didn’t only bring the hope of a more enjoyable year but also brought the most anticipated movie line up for the Hollywood industry.

As many fans waited for the release of “Black Widow” or the most awaited sequel of “Fast & Furious9” to Disney animated film “Mulan” after the hit The Lion King.

But unfortunately all the long awaited and anticipated movies of 2020 had to postpone their release date due to the corona virus pandemic leaving all the fans disappointed.

Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

Actress Gal Gadot plays the lead of Diana Prince/wonder woman, alongside Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Robin Wright and Connie Nielsen in the supporting role. As the film revolves around Diana as she faces off with Maxwell Lord and Cheetah. The filming took place at Warner Bros Studios, Leavesden in England as well as the district of Columbia and Northern Virginia in the United States.

Godzilla vs. Kong(2020)

It the 4^th film in the Legendary MonsterVerse , American monster film directed by Adam Wingard. Sequel to  “Godzilla: King of the Monsters”(2019) and “Kong: Skull Island”(2017).

The film star Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza Gonzalez, Jessica Henwick, Julian Dennison, Kyle Chandler, and Demian Bichier.

This film is also the 36^th film in the Godzilla franchise and the 12^th film in King Kong franchise. The principal photography began in November 2018 in Hawaii, Australia, and Hong Kongand was wrapped in April 2019.

Black widow(2020)

American superhero film based on the famous Marvel character of the same name, it is intended to be the 24^th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

The film is directed by Cate Shortland and written by Eric Pearson from a story by Jac Schaeffer and Ned Benson. The lead role of Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow id taken by Scarlett Johansson alongside Florence Pugh, David Harbour, O-T Fagbenle,William Hurt, Ray Winstone and Rachel Weisz. The film is set after the “Captain America: civil War”(2016), as the film see Romanoff on the run and is now forced to confront her past.

The filming took place from May to October in Norway, Budapesr, Morocco, Pinewood Studios England, and in Atlanta and Macon, Georgia.

No Time to Die(2020)

No Time to Die is the 24^th instalment of spy film “James Bond ”series produced by Eon Productions. Staring Daniel Craig alongside Rami Malek, Lea Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Christoph Waltz, and Ralph Fiennes.

This film would be his 5^th and final outing as the fictional MI6 and James Bond.

It would be the first film in the series to be distributed by Universal Pictures.

The development of the film began in early 2016.

The filming locations included Italy, Jamaica, Norwayand london, in addition to pinewood Studio.

Mulan (2020)

Mulan (2020) an action drama film based on the Chinese folklore “The Ballad of Mulan” is directed by Niki Caro. Produced by Walt Disney and distributed by Walt Disney Studio Motion Pictures. It is a live-action adaptation of Disney’s 1998 animated film of the same name.

The film stars Liu Yifei in the lead role, alongside Donnie Yen, Jason Scott Lee, Yoson An, Gong  Li, and Jet Li in supporting roles.

the filming began in August 2018 and lasted through November, taking place in New Zealand and China.
