Simon Cowell had a safe and successful surgery following an electric bike accident which broke few parts of his back
On Saturday evening Simon Cowell landed in the hospital after breaking his back from falling of his electric bike in his home in Malibu.
The spokesperson of “Americas Got Talent” judge told the People that the accident happened on Saturday afternoon as he revealed that, “Simon has a fall from his bike on Saturday afternoon while testing the bike in the courtyard at his in Malibu with his family.”
As the spokesperson continued he revealed that Simon hurt his back and was taken to the hospital. And though he is under observation he is doing fine. The spokesperson added that, “Simon has broken his back and will undergo surgery this evening.”
The sources have revealed that the surgery through which Simon underwent took almost 5 hours and underwent a number of producers which included having a metal rod put in his back; and was in the end successful.
On Sunday night Simon Cowell was in pretty good spirit while he made his first public comment after he underwent the surgery to fix his broken back from the electric bike accident.
Simon Cowell thanked the medical staff as he recuperates.
Simon Cowell posted message on tweeter and Instagram series of tweets; where he say “Some good advice… If you buy an electric bike, read the manual before you ride it for the first time. I have broken parts of my back. Thank you to everyone for your kind messages.”
He sent a massive thanks to all the nurses and the doctors as he wrote in his series of tweets, “And a massive thank you to all the nurses and doctors. Some of the nicest people I have ever met. Stay safe everyone.”
This was not the first time Simon hurt his back but this was the far worse cry. Around 3 years ago back in 2017 he fell down the stairs at his home in London.
Many wished him a speedy recovery from this injury. And among the many who wished him Amanda Holden was one of them who wished her dear friend well on social media; while Piers Morgan described it as a nasty accident, he also wished Simon Cowell a speedy recovery.
