Alice Evans, 49, who has been with Ioan Gruffudd for twenty years, took to Twitter on Monday to share the ‘miserable news’, expressing the Welsh star, 47, said he ‘no longer loves her’ and has left her young little girls, Ella, 11, and Elsie, seven, feeling ‘dismal’.
The first assertion was later erased, with Alice claiming that it was her spouse who had delete the message.
She posted another Twitter message, perusing: ‘Hello. I didn’t erase the tweet from a couple of hours back about him leaving. He did. From my social media handle.
In the first proclamation, Alice wrote: ‘Heartbreaking news. My adored spouse/perfect partner of 20 years, Ioan Gruffudd, has declared he is to leave his family.
‘Me and our young little girls are extremely befuddled and pitiful. We haven’t been given an explanation aside from that he ‘no longer loves me’. I’m so sorry.’
In a telling sign, last February Ioan talked about their relationship battling as he revealed to The Guardian: ‘I think we’ve battled the previous four years, setting aside a few minutes for one another because truly we’re separated.’
The couple met on the movie set of 102 Dalmatians in 2000 when Alice was involved with Pablo Picasso’s grandson Olivier.
The pair became engaged in six years after the fact after she gave him a final proposal about their relationship, and got married in a close function in Mexico in September 2007.
He expressed in a meeting with Who: ‘When we originally got ready for marriage, there were many individuals who said, ”Oh entertainers who are engaged can get difficulties because there’s such a large number of consciences included.” But we’ve recently had a phenomenal relationship.’
The couple’s little girls were considered through IVF after finding Alice had a low antral follicle check at 38 years old.

‘A simple 40 hours after the fact Ella showed up, a 6lb 2oz lobster-red child. Immediately none of my different plans made a difference.
‘This was the thing I ought to have done years prior. The solitary thing. It was as near being in paradise as I’d actually get.
In 2017, Alice talked about a ‘vile’ experience she had with disfavored film investor Harvey Weinstein, only hours after Ioan screen-tried for one of his motion pictures in Cannes in 2002.

Ioan shared his help as he said in a meeting with The Sunday Post in 2018: ‘I simply needed to hold her hand and walk her through it. She’s an exceptional lady, savagely solid and brilliant and perhaps the most courageous individual I know.’
