End of a music era. Daft punk released an Eight-minute video named ‘Epilogue’ in which they socially declare their split after 28 years of their music era.
Daft Punk is the French electronic music duo, with their unique style icon robot look like helmet and leather jacket. They are assumed to be robotic personas.
In their last video posted on Youtube hit 6million times only in Eight hours.
They used scenes from the 2006 sci-fi film Electroma. In that scene, Daft Punk is walking in the desert. One of them stopped and removed his leather jacket (as a sign of end) and indicate another one to press the detonation button and explodes.


Another one walks away in the desert with disclaiming 1993-2021 on-screen.
Their longtime publicist ‘Kathryn Frazier confirmed this news with the associated press.
Daft Punk was made of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo.
Together they won six Grammy Awards, Composed score for Tron: Legacy (2010).
Their 2013 single ‘Get Lucky’ rank no.2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and also ranked no.1 with 2016 single ‘The Weeknd’s.

Bangalter and Homem- Christo met at a school in Paris in 1987 and they formed ‘Darling’ an indie rock band.
After this, they moved forward and officially formed ‘Daft Punk’ in 1993 as helmeted, mute, mysterious musicians.
Their debut album was ‘Homework’ in 1997.
‘Da Funk’ was their first international hit which ranked top on Billboard dance charts and earned their first Grammy nomination.
Da Punk spent most of their time touring around the world and reached heights with their blockbuster hits ‘ Discovery’, ‘One more time’, ‘Harder Better Faster Stronger’,
Kanye West also modifies ‘Stronger’ as his own version and won best rap solo performance at Grammy in 2008. Daft Punk and West performed together onstage.


2014 Grammy was their time. They won album of the year for Random Access Memories and made a record as the first electronic act to win the highest number of Grammy. That night they win for Grammy’s.

After their breakup video fans fired social media with their heartbreaking reactions as Daft Punk’s work is very close to their fans’ feelings.
