Carrie was nominated four times in Saturn Awards for her role in Star Wars.
Carrie Fisher got cardiac arrest while she was on the onboard flight to Log Angeles on December 26,2016 and her Grandmother (Debbie Reynold) died on the very next day December 27,2016 from a stroke. Carrie Fisher Star Wars costar Mark Hamill also wrote a post for her caption #AlwayWithUS. They both met on the Star Wars set. He was surprised with her spirit because he was 24 and she was 19. He was like I am working with a high school kid but her passion and acting skills astonished him. He also writes that she was funny, outspoken, and Brutally candid. They became best friends and attracted to each other having a love affair for three months while working together in Star Wars movies. However officially they didn’t date each other but Hamill’s words say a different and romantic story about her. Hamill told working with Fisher was always a sweet and sour type of relationship but they laugh and also criticize each other.
Hamill adds that he is grateful that they stayed friends like family. She was always remembered by followers as a Star Wars Princess and a fantastic Actress.
