The audience were awestruck. they felt that this was the best opening monologue of the the recent times. They thought that this monologue was so refreshing. Jake Gyllenhaall started the hosting by saying that the last time he hosted the show was in year 2007. He feels so good and it was so amazing to be back on SNL. He remembered the time 15 years back where he once hosted SNL. Furthermore he added that he sang a song from dream girls.

Furthermore , it is interesting to note that he made fun of himself the way he has been very strict and serious althrough out. he made fun of himself that he took method acting so seriously that he forgot to enjoy the life. He sang the cover all coming back to me. when he started singing it left the audience in awe of his skills. he showed his vocal skills and it really has impressed us.
