With a heavy heart we share with you the demise of actor-director Rajeev Kapoor. Son of Raj Kapoor passed away today at the age of 58. This news was confirmed by Late Rishi Kapoor’s wife, Neetu Ji’s IG post where she says “RIP” with Rajeev Kapoor’s photograph.
One of our sources confirmed that Kapoor had suffered a bad heart attack. He was immediately taken to Inlaks Hospital, which is located in close proximity to Chembur and his residence. It is believed that he may have taken his last breath around 1PM on tuesday.
After the news got out, Karishma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor with their mother were present at Kapoor’s residence with his grieving family. Last year the Kapoor Family had faced the loss of Rishi Kapoor, second son of Raj Kapoor and father of Ranbir Kapoor.
Many celebrities came forward with heartfelt posts including Lata Mangeshkar, Tusshar Kapoor, Adnan Sami, Soni Razdan and many more. They all were praying for his family to find strength at this tragic time.
Rajeev Kapoor is well known for his films like ‘Aasmaan’, ‘Zabardast’, ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’, ‘Lover Boy’, ‘Hum To Chale Pardes’, with a series of wonderful performances.
Rajeev Kapoor came from a legendary family that has given the film industry some great actors and talents. He is the son of Raj Kapoor and has worked with him in his last directorial film in 1983, ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’.
