Radhika Apte is a great entertainer since the time of her initial days in films. In a new meeting with Grazia, Radhika went through a world of fond memories and talked about the days when she felt misused on the movie set of Rakht Charitra and was denied any payment for Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi.

Radhika talked about working with Ram Gopal Varma on Rakht Charitra and shared that she “felt extremely misused because I wasn’t getting paid a lot.” “They disclosed to me I’d do one film however then they made me shoot in Tamil and Telugu also,” she added.

The Sacred Games entertainer worked with director Mahesh Manjrekar on Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi, which was her first-since forever film insight. “They said they couldn’t bear to pay me and requested that I do it for nothing. When on set, I understood that even the kid artists were being paid,” she shared. She depicted the creation house’s strategy as “totally offensive.”

Yet, things were drastically extraordinary on the arrangements of Shor in the City. Radhika shared that when she did Raj and DK’s film Shor in the City, she was astounded by the group. She shared, “I tried out with the scene where Tilak (played by Tusshar Kapoor) asks Sapna (my character) regardless of whether she can read. It’s one of the not very many scenes I’ve tried out for and gotten the part, so I recall it. It was a three-day gig with a cool result of INR 72,000.” Radhika shared that she was subsequently gotten back to by the creators “as they needed Sapna to have a meatier part in the film.”
