Shefali Shah and Vidya Balan creates magic on screen, predictable but must watch thriller.

The idea of women centric movies was rare till recently. but the presence of these two actors in the movie used to give assurance of quality to fans.

Jalsa revolves around the class friction. Vidya Balan who is the top-notch journalist. She has a child suffering from autism. One night she met with an accident which turns into hit and run case. The movie in the initial part remains predictable. This predictability takes a lot of excitement and suspense out from the hands of the audience.
Shefali shah who is the house maid of vidya Balan has done commendable job. She fits into the role of the maid who treats the family of vidya Balan as her own. Vidya Balan who has hit the girl in the middle of the night gets to know that the girl was the daughter of Shefali shah.
The pictures revolve around how everyone comes into the picture when it comes to hiding their own flaws and wrongs. Also,The movie shows the reality of today’s world where people are caught between right and wrong.
The director has introduced the characters in the middle of the movie be it the cop, the local politician his son. And the new journalist internee who is adamant to create the buzz by unwrapping this whole hit and run case.
All said the movie gives a great entertainment which hits sharply in this today’s society and the class equations we have. The pace of the movie is good. Also,It keeps you intrigued. The story line is actually relatable to the present-day society and the way things actually work. There are few scenes which end up abruptly. But in those moments the director has left viewers to imagine.
The emphasis on dialogues is less but the expressions, body language, the eye movements are put lot of emphasis on.
