Taylor Swift slammed Netflix and its comedy-drama show Ginny and Georgia

This series makes a joke on Swift’s love life, which she tagged as a lazy and deeply sexist joke.
In one scene, Ginny (mother) and Georgia (Daughter) fighting about relationships. Ginny asked, “Have you split up with your boyfriend”. She added, “You go over men quicker than Taylor Swift”.

This line creates chaos. Swift fans criticizing the show and its cast on social media, even started a trend to boycott the show.

Now artists are taking a stand against this kind of taunts so in response Taylor wrote on Twitter.
She mentioned Netflix too for promoting such stuff on its platform.

Netflix and ‘Ginny and Georgia’ team yet not commented on her Tweet.

Fans also express their anger over another Netflix Show ‘Degrassi: Next Class’. In this show, they mocked Taylor by saying “Taylor Swift made an entire career off her exes”.

Now fans are waiting for Netflix to respond on this issue.One follower Tweeted “Netflix has many films relating with Taylor but still they handling her like this”.

This is not the first time Taylor Swift stand against these platforms.
Earlier she battled with Spotify for the new artists to be well paid for their music on this platform. Reminding her influence Apple Music also reverted their decision of not paying artists whose music is streamed under the three-month trial period.

In 2014 she slammed ‘Sexist’ opinion about her work in an Australian Radio show Jules, Merrick & Sophie.
She said male artists write and release their songs based on their exes, GF, loved ones but they didn’t receive any criticism.
If a Female Artist does the same, people start talking “Oh she is writing songs on her Ex-boyfriends” which is a very sexist angle to take.
No one talks about Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, they also write about their exes, current girlfriends, their love of life but the only female artist always gets in the limelight with a red flag.
