While the whole world is under the corona virus pandemic, Tana Mongeau is ready to cover her face with a mask while showing off her bikini as she strolls off for the grocery shopping just after a month of revealing her tragic abusive childhood.

 As the story goes on nearly after 3 months of deciding to focus on her mental health, Tana Mongeau is getting candid about the struggles she is facing.

In March 2020, the YouTube star posted a video titled “letting you in on the truth about MTV, depression + a life update” and revealed that she has suffered abuse from a very young age.

She said that her childhood was the worst thing on the earth and she was abused mentally, physically, and emotionally. She also said that she feels lucky that she has gotten out of all that.

Tana Mongeau 21, started her channel in 2015, and months prior to opening the channel her best friend died. She bottled up depression as it was too unbearable for her. She started “numbing things out with drugs” at times when her career was taking off.

She was not too far from taking Xanax, she said. She confessed that she was not trying to overdose, but she was definitely taking enough to where she wasn’t trying to kill herself”. Adding on to that, he said, she actually didn’t care if she died. That is the scariest route, one could possibly take, she said.

On top of that depression and anxiety, she hit the bottom when she had a public split with Jake Paul, while she was filming her MTV reality series, “No filter”.

While talking about the year 2019, she said that it might be the best textbook year of her life but when it comes to her mental state, it was the worst in her 21 years of her life. From the start of the year in January till the end of it in December, she crumbled, collapsed to be real. She said that by the end of it, she had beaten her up in every possible way that she was not even thinking of herself as a person. She wanted to die, she wanted to kill herself, she didn’t want to live, She confessed.

However, the reality star says that she has worked on herself and now she is at the “happiest place” she’s ever been in her entire life. Although she has to relive her memories and moments on a show, she claims heavily edited.

She is finally ready to be back to her YouTube channel, making funny videos & entertain her fans, but she categorizes MTV show as a ‘weird conflict’.

Tana also alleged that “the show makes anyone look a way that they aren’t”.

Mongeau concluded by saying that she will use her YouTube platform for more charity and philanthropic efforts, helping needy families during this pandemic.
