Katherine Heigl 42year old American actress, former fashion model open up about the impact of her reputation in Hollywood and social media platforms on personal life.
Katherine is titled as a character with whom it is very ‘Difficult’ to work with, because of this name she got an adversarial impact on her life.
Heigl pulls this image from the 2007 film “a little sexist” and when she withdrew her title from Emmy Awards nomination for her role in ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ according to her she didn’t deliver quality content to the audience as per demand, which makes her unqualified for Emmy nomination. Katherine played the role of Dr. Izzie Stevens for six seasons of Grey’s Anatomy from 2005 to 2010.
She said a couple of things which were unacceptable as per others, which titled her as ‘She is ungrateful’ than it promoted to ‘She is difficult’ than again promoted to ‘She is unprofessional’. Heigl wants to question ‘What is the definition of difficult’ as everyone titled her.
Everyone has an opinion and own feelings, if you don’t like it so why it bothers you, just drop it and move on, don’t try to rule anyone on his/her own decisions. She described sometimes people directly told her directly to “shut the fuck up”. The more she tried to calm the situation by saying sorry, the more everyone pushes her to apologize for her every move, which makes her more terrified and scared that she was doing something horrible.
These things directly or indirectly influencing her mental health leads to anxiety issues.
According to her, these situations made her friends and family terrified for her, as sometimes she deemed suicide due to her anxiety issue. She requested her husband and friends to help her in these situations.
Now she utilizes her social media platform to show everyone who Katherine Heigl is in real life apart of her Hollywood built the image by posting videos and interacting with fans. She gains her confidence and self-respect back with help of her close ones and by interacting with followers personally.
