This Weekend DaBaby releases his new track ‘Beatbox Freestyle’ but this song viral not because of the song’s vibe but due to some lyrical misunderstanding.
In this track, it seems like he is dissing young social media star ‘JoJo Siwa’. In one of the lines DaBaby says “You a bitch, JoJo Siwa (Bitch)”, after hearing these lyrics, Internet outrageously banged beatboxer on Twitter.
Some people made a theory comparing DaBaby and JoJo Siwa.
As 29-year-old rapper only had a few blockbusters like ‘Cry Baby’ with Megan Three Stallion and Dua Lipa’sLevitating’. If we see his solo performance then it is not as bright. His solo blockbusters are ‘Rockstar’ and ‘BOP’. His recent releases don’t breakthrough that much.
If we see JoJo Siwa’s sensation on social media, She is a young star who made a successful career via YouTube, TikTok, etc. She manages more than 40 million followers on social media platforms.
Recently she gains huge popularity after she socially confirms her relationship with a girl and a part of the LGBTQ community. People like her boldness and praised her decision.
Now after seeing this comparison people start thinking that DaBaby wants to utilize press coverage of JoJo Siwa to gain some popularity with his new song by dissing Jojo Siwa.
After so much blunder DaBaby responded on Twitter by explaining his lyrics. He said I have no intention or bad feeling for little Siwa. People just misunderstood my lyrics.
He explains that DaBaby’s real name is Jonathan which implies ‘JoJo’ as a short note in lyrics and he uses ‘Siwa’ as a word twister for ‘See Why’. By this whole lyrics stands as ‘You a Bitch, JoJo Siwa(bitch) –> ‘You a Bitch, Jonathan see why (bitch)’.

He also wrote on Twitter Tagging JoJo Siwa so that she doesn’t give any negative response to him and also clarifies her about the whole lyrical drama.
Jojo Siwa doesn’t comment anything on this controversy till now but she liked a comment by social media star Amanda Cerny’s Tweet that modifies ‘Bitch’ Lyrics to ‘Boss Bitch’.
