Scarlett Johansson, full name Scarlett Ingrid Johansson is an American actress and singer. The year she became active was 1994 and since then her life and career has been a roller coaster ride, with many ups and downs.

Brief

She  was born and raised in Manhattan, New York. Scarlett aspired to become an actress at a very young age. She used to work in plays in childhood days. She made her film debut in the fantasy comedy North(1994), but role that brought recognition to her was Manny & Lo(1996) and then slowly while her career was pacing she shifted to adult roles in 2003, and did Lost in Translation.

Early life

Scarlett attended her school in Manhattan. When she was 13, her parents got divorced. Because she was closed to her maternal grandmother, she started living with her. Initially she was very fond of musical theatres and Jazz hands. She took lessons in tap dance. She has also mentioned at various places that her parents were very supportive of her career choice. Although her childhood was very ordinary and very simple as she describes. Later on she joined Professional children’s school (PCS), a private educational institution for aspiring child actors.

Scarlett plays the character Natasha Romanoff aka Black widow in MCU. She has appeared in many MCU movies like Iron Man 2, Thw Avengers, Captain America : The Winter Soldier, Avengers : Age Of Ultron, Captain America: Civil war, Thor Ragnarok, Avengers :Infinity War, Avengers : Endgame etc. The role of Black Widow is very challenging, particularly physically. She had to be in incredibly good shape to portray that because the character, Black Widow is a trained fighter with incredible strength and combat skills.

It is needless to say that the character required to get her body in very good shape. Eric Johnson, Co founder of Homage Fitness, is the guy who personally trained her for the role. The trainer took approach of training her like an athlete, rather than thinking about the aesthetics. Some of Scarlett’s favourite moves while working out were fundamental compound lifts, such as pull ups, deadlifts and military presses. She also took help of a concept called  Carb-cycling, which means altering the intake of amount of carbs you are consuming on any given day depending on what type of exercise you are doing.

Scarlett was married to a Ryan Reynolds, a Canadian actor from 2008 to 2011 but later git divorced.

Later on she married to a French businessman Romain Dauriac in 2014, with whom she also has a child . But even this didn’t go too far and she got divorced again in 2017.
