Siddharth Roy Kapur grateful to Farhan Akhtar & Ritesh Sidhwani

The latest venture of Siddharth Roy Kapur is titled ‘Wo Ladki Hai Kahaan?‘ and he is grateful to the makers of Dil Chahta Hai for that.

We all can never forget the iconic coming-of-age movie Dil Chahta hai and it is almost impossible to forget the signature step of Saif Ali Khan and Sonali Kulkarni in the song ‘Wo Ladki Hai Kahaan’? Well it looks like Siddharth Roy kapur loved it a little bit more than us. He names his next venture after the song.

Siddharth Roy is thankful to Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani for letting him borrow the title of the song. It is believed that the title which means ‘where is that girl?’ is totally apt and captures the essence of the movie he is about to make.

Wo Ladki Hai Kahaan is produced by the Roy-Kapur Films, of course. The stars sharing the screen are Taapasee Pannu and Pratik Gandhi. The role assigned to Taapasee Pannu is that of a cop where as Pratik Gandhi will be portraying as a chauvinist brut. The plot line has not been revealed much but the story is going to cover romance, action and is going to be packed with entertainment. 

There are many aspects that have not been figured out yet including the rest of the cast. The movie is most probably going to start somewhere towards the end of this year. Hoping for the best.

Siddharth Roy Kapur is known for producing the finest bunch like Taare Zameen Par, Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye, Wake Up Sid, Rajneeti and more. He has even had a hand in producing Disney’s Beauty and the Beast in India. 

Pratik Gandhi is known to have infamously played the role of Harshad Mehta in Scam 1992 and Taapasee Pannu has been known for her strong roles in Pink and Thappad. Pannu will also be working with Ekta Kapoor and Anurag Basu for their movie ‘Dobaaraa’.
