We all know how much famous kGF chapter 1 was, when it hit the theatres. With KGF 2,there is the news in the town that Sanjay Dutt and raveena Tandon have taken important roles in the movie.
The movie whose first part came out in 2018. At the time when it hit the theatres it was first kannada movie to made on such an expensive budget of 80 crores.
The rumors are making rounds that Sanjay Dutt has charged 10 crores for his role of Adheera. Also, Raveena Tandon has charged 2 crores as Ramika Sen, the prime minister. In addition to that actress Srinidhi has asked the amount of 4 crore for the role of Reena Desai.
Interestingly, Sanjay Dutt has entirely transformed himself into super villain.
According to sources Sanjay Dutt has performed all the stunts by himself.
The sources claimed that the makers pursued not to do the stunts himself, but he stood firm on his decision. According to Sanjay Dutt, if he doesn’t perform his stunts by himself then the character of Adheera will lose its edginess.
we got the rumors that when the makers simplified the action stunts Sanjay Dutt called it an insult to him. He clarified the makers that he will do the original action stunts without any modification or simplifications.
Sanjay Dutt has many other interesting projects in pipeline. They are Prithvi raj and shamshera. However, they are running late due to the global pandemic which has hit the entertainment industry badly. The series is by far the most expensive kannada film of the sequel
The film is based on the story line where the male protagonist is an assassin. The character of rocky was born in utter poverty. The movie is on the backdrop of kolar gold mines.
It was a massive hit, with earning at box office of 250 crores.
It was dubbed in Tamil, Telegu and Hindi.
In addition to that the KGF chapter 1 secured award in best action and best special effects category at 66thnational film awards. along with two nominations of best actor and best film.
