Today co-host Al Roker announced that he has prostate cancer the famed weatherman will undergo surgery in NYC next week to have it removed The legendry 66 years man said on TODAY that he will be having the surgery for removing his prostate, he said to everyone concerned about him he finds his co-hosts that he will be fine soon Al said that I was feeling nervous to share this publicly but then I thought that I could shine a spotlight on the number of men who suffer from illness.
Al said that I don’t want people thinking about sad for me because I am gonna be okay he described to his co-host that what actually happened with him and how the doctor broke that tragic news ” He said to me that I like to tell these things to face to face when he told I was like uh-oh well that obviously doesn’t sound good because whenever we listen to the word ‘Cancer’ our minds goes out of from the position so yes I also felt bad and I was just upset for a bit because when I received the diagnosis my wife was not with me because I didn’t tell her so that was a bad feeling so I wish that I would tell her. Al will be undergoing the surgery next week in new york city.
His Doctor said that it is fortunate that his cancer appears somewhat limited or confined to the prostate but because it is not a joke so we have to treat it as soon as it possible and after all the discussion and applying all the other options we found that he needs to for prostate for his best recovery. And hope he will be fine soon and get back to his normal schedule.
