Gaga called Donald Trump “a fool and racist” and accused him of offering “nothing but ignorance and prejudice while black lives are continued to be taken.” While the “Poker face” singer adds: “he is fuelling a system that is already rooted in racism, and racist activities, it’s time to change.”
While demonstrating her anger on this tragic event, she went out for calling a change “Haven’t we, as a privileged community, done enough to fight racism and stand-up for those people who are being killed by it” she writes in her post. As she continued with the outburst “The voices of the black community has silenced for a long period of time and has proven dangerous time and time, and no matter what they do to protest they are met with no compassion by the leaders that are meant to protect them.”
“I have a lot of things to say about this, but the first thing I want to say is I’m afraid to say anything that will incite further anger, although that’s is precisely the emotions that’s justified” she says.
After the statement she posted late Saturday night, Gaga becomes one of the stars who have also called on their fans to make a change.
