Since the time we have heard hope spring eternal, and what’s better than a chance to revisit Superman’s most recent big-screen solo with the man who brought it to life.
Zack Edward Snyder an American film director, producer, and screenwriter is getting ready to do a Man of Steel watch party this Wednesday. As he takes it to twitter “many of us are struggling during this difficult time. I felt it could be Catharine t come together now for a Man of Steel watch Party and celebrate the ultimate symbol of hope” Snyder says.
Many of us are struggling during this difficult time. Felt it could be cathartic to come together now for a Man of Steel Watch Party and celebrate the ultimate symbol of hope. Submit some questions, I’ll answer a few after. #manofsteel #superman https://t.co/PdvGayTe7b pic.twitter.com/GMvIWyD4y4— Zack Snyder (@ZackSnyder) May 18, 2020
As Zack is particularly active on Vero, the watch party will be taking place on the filmmaker’s Vero page. His 2013 superman did take a bold approach but eventually wounded up alienating long-time fans than it won over.
The belief of time hells all wounds was also proven wrong in his case. Even after the release of its sequel, Batman v Superman the divisiveness didn’t get any better.
To turn the tables this time Snyder plans this watch party were he would be providing commentary and answer question from the fans, hoping to provide them a number of insights about the movie which didn’t come to light.
Man of Steel release in 2013 kicked off the DC universe with an approach to update the character and his origin for the modern times which became a very hit-and-miss movie for Snyder. Man of Steel might have been a hit on the box office but it received a mix reviews for it pacing, darker tone and lack of character development, with an estimate budget of $225-258 million even so it succeeded in helping kick start the DC universe.
