The Alien conspiracy: Area 51

Area 51, the old legends and theories say that the remains of a crashed UFO spacecraft are stored at Area 51, which is an Air Force Base about 120 miles north from Las Vegas and where government scientists revers engineer the highly advanced technology of the Aliens.

Each year the famous mythology of Area 51 attracts people from all around the world. People come here just to get glimpse of the mysterious Air base and to see the otherworldly spacecraft.

The dusty road in the middle of the barren Nevada desert, leads to the front gates of Area 52. The area is protected by little more than a chain link fence, few intimidating trespassing signs and a boom gate, but people make no mistake, beyond those gates the cameras see every angle. According to the locals the base knows every desert tortoise and jackrabbit that hops in the fence.

This military base has many unofficial names: Paradise Ranch; Watertown; Dreamland Resort; Red Square; Detachment 3 and the most famous Area 51.

The area near the Groom Lake was used for silver and lead mining before World War II, but was taken by the military to conduct research for mainly nuclear and weapons testing once the war began. In the initial phase of developing spy reconnaissance planes during the Cold War, the then CIA- Director Richard Bissell realized the need of a private headquarters. The Atomic Energy Commission added the base to the existing map of the Nevada Test Site.

The U-2 plane, which could fly at an altitude of 70,000 feet, was developed within eight months. This air craft could fly much higher than any other which turned into a huge favour for the pilots as to they now could fly well above the Soviet radars, missiles and enemy air crafts.

After the success of U-2, the CIA aimed for something much bigger, much better, much powerful and much cooler. And from here the myth and the legends of aliens and alien technology being stored in the Area 51 took fuel. The A-12 aircraft moving as fast as the bullet reflected the sun rays in a way that made people thin k it was a UFO.

The grounds of the Alien conspiracy was set by a man named Bob Lazar in 1989, when he claimed that Area 51 stored and studied the Alien technologies in an interview with a local news station in Las Vegas, as he claimed that his job was to re-create the alien technology for the military use.

Even now, the notion of Area 51 housing or storing or researching on aliens or alien technology or the alien spacecraft still lingers around.

While this notion never intends to died down the Hollywood directors are taking its full advantage, as to they still won’t back down from the concept of Area 51 and keepo on producing movies such as Independence Day (1996) a superhit movie base on the struggle of fighting alien invaders and taking refuge in Area 51 a secret haedquarters which research on aliens which in turn alos help in defeating them.
