Thena (Angelina Jolie) is shown using an uncommon sword in Marvel’s first Eternals film, which was remembered for a video reviewing Marvel’s impending Phase 4 motion pictures. A trailer hasn’t been delivered at this point, however, this recording in any event gives fans a brief look at a couple of the characters.

One of the angels flaunted is Thena, a vital figure in Jack Kirby’s unique Eternals comic from the last part of the 1970s, just as a few different anecdotes about this baffling race of superpowered immortals. In Marvel Comics, Thena is the persistent girl of their chief, Zuras, and an accomplished hero who has been at the focal point of numerous contentions with their race’s most established adversaries, the Deviants. She was broadly engaged with a prohibited sentiment with the Deviants’ Warlord Kro for millennia. She, similar to all Eternals, has various superpowers, including the capacity to fly, super strength, control on the matter, and more. She isn’t just about as incredible as Gilgamesh, Sersi, or Ikaris, yet she is as yet viewed as an amazing Eternal and an awe-inspiring phenomenon.

The main glance at Eternals portrays Thena employing a gleaming, brilliant blade that is by all accounts straightforward and not made out of metal. The presence of the weapon clarifies that is it’s not Dane Whitman’s Ebony Blade, the famous dark sword expected to make its MCU debut in Eternals. This is an altogether extraordinary weapon, and it doesn’t have all the earmarks of being associated with a particular sword from Marvel Comics, nor is it something that Thena is known for conveying in the funnies. Her weapon of decision is a brilliant lance, not a blade.

Given the sword’s special piece, it’s conceivable that this particular weapon is an appearance of Thena’s infinite forces. In the comics, Eternals are fit for using the infinite energy that streams inside their veins for an assortment of purposes. For example, Makkari utilizes his to help his speed, and Sersi depends on hers to control matter on a scale more noteworthy than any remaining individuals from her race. Additionally, all Eternals are equipped for gathering this energy into a went assault that can be terminated from both their hands and eyes (a force shared by the MCU’s Eternals). Ongoing comics have uncovered that Eternals – Thena, specifically – can shape that energy into blades that can be utilized in battle. It bodes well that this is the thing that Angelina Jolie’s character is doing in Marvel’s Eternals film.

In light of what is known up until now, it appears to be likely that similarly as it was in the comics, universal energy will be at the center of what controls the characters in Eternals and what keeps them alive as the centuries progressed. The immense measure of potential that their enormous energy gives them admittance to in the comics will make it workable for Marvel to rejuvenate the most impressive group of superheroes at any point to exist in the MCU.
