The heartthrob Robert Pattinson just turned 34 on 13th May 2020. His Original full name is Robert Douglas Thomas Pattinson. Born in London, the United Kingdom, he started acting at a very early age of 15. He used to act at the London theatre club. The actor began his film career by fantasy film Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire, playing a character called Cedric Diggory, but hit the spotlight after he played Edward Cullen in “The Twilight Saga” since then he is unstoppable.

He was dismissed from his school for stealing and then selling pornographic magazines.
During an interview in 2017, Robert said that he was expelled from his elite grade school for the activities mentioned above. He told that he used to replenish the supply of magazines by stealing them from a local store. He said he used to go in his school uniform which was a bit risky and would one or two of them in the bag. But guys the fact is greed catch us all and same happened with Robert too and he ended up stealing the entire rack and eventually got caught.
Robert is also a musician.
Robert can play guitar and piano very well. In addition to playing guitar and piano, he sometimes also sings and writes his music. You might not know, he gave his voice to two the “Twilight” original soundtracks “Never think and Let me sign.”
He hasn’t stopped singing and his recent song which was recorded is “High Life”, it is from Claire Denis’s film.
Robert’s first major role was in the film “Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire”
The coveted role of Cedric Diggory in ‘The Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire’ (2005) played by Robert Pattinson was the first major role that put him on the map. Before this, he had only three roles to his name.
Robert Pattinson has never acted on a TV show.
Throughout his 15 years career in film Industry, although he has appeared in many TV movies and video shorts, he has never acted on a TV show.
He admits that he isn’t the best driver.
During his first appearance on Ellen DeGeneres show, Pattinson told that he doesn’t know how to drive. He also said, he doesn’t know how to use that little wipey thing on the windscreen.

For those readers who don’t know yet, a lot of his fans call him R-Patz. Responding to this, he said that he doesn’t understand nickname culture and about his nickname, he said that it sounds like “an antacid tablet.”
Robert chose to be in “Harry Potter” over going to University
Robert was just 17 years old when was cast as Cedric Diggory in the famous fantasy franchise. While talking about it in 2017, he told that he had to choose between Harry Potter and attending university. The reason he gave for this, was that the film went too far over schedule. Originally, he said it was supposed to be 4 months, but ended up being 11 months. He was 17 and the only guy who wasn’t in the school, the actor said.
The actor almost got fired from Twilight.
Yes, that is a bit shocking but in 2017 Pattinson in an interview told that he was almost fired from the film.
He said that he was acting “too serious” as Edward and was instructed to lighten up the character a little. He said that the director also gave him an original copy of Stephanie Meyer’ s book “Twilight”. But later on, he and the director eventually came to a compromise about the character and went further.
