Here we are ready to welcome Zamunda Royalty back to Great America.
The first part was released in 1988 movie. Prince Akeem Joffer (Eddie Murphy) prince of Zamunda came to America to find true love.
Even the prince had the desire of an American Bride too and he found Lisa McDowell (Shari Headley) of Queens.
This sequel was written by Kenya Barris, David Sheffield, and Barry Blaustein.
In this sequel, the king has to announce the name of the prince but he has only three daughters. According to kingdoms rule throne must have a male heir.
To make the situation worse Military General of the neighboring kingdom has eyes on Zamunda.
Now the king has to decide for the throne and kingdom during this drama he realized that during his tour of America. He had an affair with Lavelle (Jermaine Fowler) and both have a son.
Now he has a chance to correct his mistake and take his son back to the throne. So he decides to revisit America and meet his son.
First, his son doesn’t entertain him but after seeing the money behind the deal he decides to visit Zamunda.
The new prince and his mother (Lavelle) handle everything with no responsibility to the kingdom.
During his mental and physical training for the throne, he gets to know about the authority and responsibility of his role. During this session rival general also plan to attack Zamunda which suddenly changes his thinking like a real prince.
It is a story of a roller coaster ride of a kingdom with lots of humor and comedy (Which is mandatory). As we can ensure this by the artists.
