The company released the news that theaters in the UK and the US will be shut temporarily indefinitely in the coming week, putting up to 5,000 people out of work.
Cineworld Group owns Regal cinemas in the US and Cineworld venues in the UK and Ireland as well,
cinema chain Cineworld said he will shut all his theaters in Britain and us after the postponement of the James bond film left a bog hole in schedules.
It said it was just temporary closure but the final decision does not come yet but we will confirm the staff and costumers soon putting 5500 people out of work will the basic reason for the closure.
Sources said that Cineworld’s plan to write a letter secretary Oliver Dowden saying cinema has become “unviable” because studios are postponing blockbusters release because of this pandemic.
staff said that it is not confirmed yet they didn’t inform us about the closure if the news will be true then their staff who will suffer first after this pandemic everyone is suffering in their own ways as we have seen the life is coming on the way day by day so the people who earn on their daily basis will definitely get suffered’
If the cinema will remain close in New York and Los Angeles, which is the two biggest markets in North America so it will be quite uneasy for us
because we have some blockbuster upcoming releases.
The producer said that last week the 25th James Bond thriller ” NO TIME TO DIE” which will be open in November is being delayed until April 2021 because of the pandemic this is the big release which we can’t release on any websites like Netflix.this will be the effect to the theatrical business.
Other major studies have also made the same decision over the past few weeks universal has decided to release CANDYMAN next year, and Walt Disney Co. has also decided to come up next year with some major releases including MARVEL’S Black Widow and Steven Spielberg’s Westside story.
This year will definitely not be the same we saw a lot of problems due to the pandemic of COVID-19 everybody faced the situation and still facing but at the end of the day, we learnt a lot from this too and hoping for the best upcoming years.
