Jolie talks about new Disney movie which is based on the book she and her daughter Shiloh read
In an interview with Extra on 17th August, Angelina Jolie was gushing all over the mother daughter bond with Shiloh who is 14 years old. And when it came to her new movie “The One And Only Ivan” she revealed that; Shiloh had a lot to do with the reason she decided to the film in the first place.
The brunette beauty answered questions about her family and her movie in a live video chat. She revealed that; “Shiloh read the book and loved the book and we started reading it together and talked about Ivan and Ivan was special.”
As the talented actress continued she said; “And I think Ivan speaks to a lot of people because there’s this idea of who Ivan is”.
Jolie said that at heart Ivan is a painter. Angelina added that; “He had this artistic side; he had this other self, and I think a lot of people can also relate to that; where there’s expectations on them to be what people assume they are; and they don’t often have friends or the freedom to be able to express who they really are and be fully that person”.
Although Angelina understands the point of view on which Ivan lives; but she doesn’t agree to pretend to be someone else or someone she isn’t; and just be what she is cause that’s what she knows.
“If you ask do I think people know me and who I really am, probably only my children could explain who I am”, is what Angelina Jolie said.
While talking about the movie “The one And Only Ivan”, Angelina also talked about her kids and their bonding. She talked about how some of her kids have started home school. She talked about her elder son Maddox, who stayed back from Korea and how he does his online classes.
And since we are talking about her children, she loves being around them and she is close to all six of them. She is often seen out in public with her kids, whether its dinner outings or shopping fun time; she never lets a chance slip away of enjoying with her children.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the whole world is at quarantine; Angelina is making most it with her children keeping them all together.
“They are all together and a nice big bunch; so everybody’s helping each other out. We are lucky”, is how she explains it.
