Furthermore the beauty of the movie lies in the way the makers have been able to capture the details of emotions. Ali has made sure that the movie doesn’t lose the narrative of the movie.

Sukhmani sadan aand ali abbas has himself written the screenplay. We can not deny the fact that the screenplay is on point. You will find the screenplay very crisp and intelligent.

The movie definitely has darker shades with the massacre and some of the bone chilling scenes. But what is the beauty of the movie is it will connect  you with the characters. And by the end of the movie you will be clapping for their success. The movie shows the process of evacuation of the sikhs during 1984 riots. You will see it as your personal triumph when the truck reaches punjab.

Furthermore the makers have used the narratives to depict the human spirit. There are scenes where Diljit Dosnjh has acted so well that you will forget that this is the movie. The movie seems to be a real life documentary.

Yes there are few moments where the pace of the movie is slow. But the movie immediately picks up the pace. Also, the makers make sure that they dont waste the time in other dramas or any such love angles.

The cinematography and background music takers away the award for this well crafted movie.

The editing team deserves special mention as it seems to be very crisp.

Diljit dosanjh understands the project and gets into the skin of the character. Some of the emotional scenes are heartwarming. Zeeshan Ayush has worked well too. Hiten tejwani has given a great performance in the dark shade.

So this movie deserves a 4 star from our side.
