The actress was wearing white chikankari kurta with sharara. She looked very surreal. Additionally, she was wearing a Bindi which accentuated her look. She looked gorgeous in the entire attire. So the wait is over the makers of the Gangubai Kathiawadi have released the date. The date is February 25th.
Earlier the date Gangubai’s release was January 6th, 2022. But due to sudden spike in the cases of covid19, there was little delay in the release of the movie.
The movie gangubai kathiawadi is the adaptation of the book of Husain Zaidi “the mafia queens of Mumbai’. It is the story about Ganga harjivandas. Interestingly the story revolves around a girl who came out to be the noted gangster due to the tough circumstances.
The movie is set in the red-light area of kamathipura. The film also has Ajay Devgan in pivotal role.
Also. The son javed Jafri, meezan Jafri was assisting on the sets of the gangubai. Meezan Jafri, made his Bollywood debut in year 2019 with the movie ‘malal’. He got lot of critical acclaim for his performance. He is grandson son of the legendary Jagdeep, who played the role of Surma bhopali in the movie sholay.
The director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is famous for his grand sets, the work of lightings and great detailed costumes. After the success of devdas and Bajirao mastani we are waiting him to create the same magic on the screen again.
While alia shared few pictures of herself in the full moon night. Furthermore, she captioned the picture with the song of movie ‘saawaria’ ‘Dekho Chand aaya ‘. Interestingly the song is from movie ‘saawaria’ which was the first movie of Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir kapoor who is currently alia Bhatt’s boyfriend. So, alia took a little liberty to use it. The fans couldn’t stop noticing it.
The film will get the chance of screening at international berlin film festival. This year all the movies which were shot in the pandemic will get the entry in the screening. This year is special for Sanjay Leela Bansal too as this year completes his 25 years in the industry.
