a Thursday is the movie you would want to watch this week. Movie, which hits you hard!

 And a Thursday has hit the theatres with the bang. Yami Gautam starrer movie a Thursday is receiving a lot pf appreciations from all the corners. A Thursday is exactly the kind of movie you expect in a thriller movie.

The movie unexpectedly came out as a surprise. They movie stars Neha Dhupia, Atul Kulkarni and dimple Kapadia in the lead roles.

It is hard hitting movie with great message revolving around the movie. And, the running time of the movie is 2 hours, the director Behzad kambhata has taken a difficult topic for the movie. The movie revolves around the four principal characters and hence the direction becomes tricky. So yes, kmabhata has tackled this issue in a great way. the editing of the movie is smart and crisp.

The makers did not waste much of the time to establish the thriller. The first half of the movie is fast paced than the second half. Subsequently,the second half gets little slow in the middle. But then by the climax it picks up the pace. Yes, there are scenes where your patience is at the test.

This is unchartered territory for the actress Yami Gautam. Initially she remains contained but she gets into the intensity of character subsequently.

The motive underlying the movie is well shown. The movie invokes the right number of emotions and social message. The story of the movie remains predictable. but the pace, acting and the right direction of the movie redeems it well. The director khambata makes a strong commentary on the journalism now adays. The satire on the breaking news kind of media is very evident.

The movie revolves around a school teacher naina Jaiswal (Yami Gautam). She abducts the 16 students of her on gun point. In the background naina is shown to take a sick leave and came back after the holiday. Her colleagues consider her as one of the best teachers who can handle the children well.

The innocent face like Yami raged with silence storm behind her eyes is good to watch. The mental trauma and her painful background establish a narrative. The movie comes out with the message for all the women around the world. And it certainly hits you in the brain.

Meanwhile, there are some logical problems in the movie. but you can totally ignore it because overall establishes itself loud. Neha Dhupia was actually pregnant while shooting the scenes. Her character as a cop facing gender discrimination at work place deserves respect. Atul Kulkarni beyond doubt has marvelled with his acting once again. Dimple Kapadia as the prime minister looks convincing in the movie.

So,the movie deserves all the applauds for great editing, direction, message, and ensemble of great star caste. This one truly remains the feather in the hat of Yami Gautam. Let us know how do you like the movie.
